Principles of Fund Development & Individual Giving | June 15 | 9:00am – 4:00pm
Gain a comprehensive understanding of the current fundraising climate and emerging trends in Colorado, how your organization’s goals may align with these trends, and how you can gain a competitive edge by improving your case for support. During this session, you will focus on building your organization’s individual giving program through prospect research, donor cultivation, individual giving solicitation and stewardship.
Capital Campaigns & Planned Giving | July 6 | 9:00am – 4:00pm
This session will provide tools and strategies to engage donors in your community to plan a successful capital campaign, and build a sustainable planned giving program for the future. Presented by Alan Sherwood, President of Sherwood Consulting Services. Sherwood has successfully conducted multiple campaigns from $500,000 to $18 million, exceeding expectations.
Diversified Funding & Donor Engagement | July 27 | 9:00am – 4:00pm
Get out of the grant dependent cycle by learning new techniques for diversifying your revenue streams and reconnecting with your donors. Join us as we cover funding strategies like social enterprises, earned revenue streams, online giving, crowd funding, annual appeals and special events.

We want to give nonprofit professionals a confidential space to share ideas and discuss solutions to challenges. This quarterly roundtable series is a confidential opportunity to connect and discuss issues that affect life as a nonprofit Executive Director or CEO. At each session, Executive Directors and CEOs will focus the discussion on a single topic, discussing the challenges, strategies and opportunities of participants.

Grantwriter roundtables are a way to connect with your peers around issues that affect life as a professional fundraiser. Community Resource Center Development Roundtables provide an introduction to a Colorado-based funder and Program Officer, and an opportunity for peer-learning and networking. Participants will gain valuable and unique information regarding the funder’s history and priorities for Colorado giving, current strategic plan and funding initiatives, grant application submission and review process, tips for success from a Program Office, and an opportunity for open dialogue and questions with Program Officer.
