AmeriCorps VISTA Positions

CMP 9R Program Development Assistant

This position is located at La Plata County Collaborative Management Program (CMP) in Durango

The Program Development Assistant will work with CMP to identify service gaps in the community and then create innovative, collaborative responses to better address the needs of at-risk youth in La Plata County.

Early Childhood Systems Building

This position is located at Grand Beginings in Hot Sulfur Springs

The Early Childhood Systems Building VISTA work to increase Grand Beginnings’ capacity to conduct research and engage the local community in carrying out the mission of Grand Beginnings. Position will include opportunities to engage in systems building work that would focus on early childhood health, early learning, and/or family engagement.

AAI Program Development Associate

This position is located at Alpine Achievers Initiative in Salida.

The Program Development Associate VISTA will support the development of out of school programs and policies for youth throughout the county to support positive development of youth and young adults.

Volunteer Positions

Research Volunteer

CRC is currently seeking volunteers to support the Colorado Grants Guide®. Community Resource Center relies on its committed volunteers to ensure the information contained in the Colorado Grants Guide® is up-to-date and accurate.

The Research Volunteer position consists of researching grantmakers who provide support to Colorado nonprofits by reviewing organizational websites, annual reports, financial information, and IRS tax documents. This data is then accurately entered into the database template while maintaining a consistent writing style. This is an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the giving priorities and application processes of hundreds funders.
