Northwest Rural Philanthropy Days
RPD is SOLD OUT!
Northwest Rural Philanthropy Days will take place on September 27-29, 2017 in Craig.
This opportunity only occurs once every four years in the Northwest region, so mark your calendars for the unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with funders, participate in professional development opportunities and network with other community leaders in the region. NW RPD is excited to welcome Patch Adams, MD as this year’s keynote speaker.
Pre-Conference Trainings
Community Resource Center and Anschutz Family Foundation provide these critical training sessions across the host region prior to the three-day conference. The training sessions are geared to help local organizations and agencies understand how to position their nonprofit to compete with Front Range entities, how to use Philanthropy Days to their best advantage, and how to increase their capacity to compete for grants. We include these trainings in your registration fee, and the training is certain to maximize your organization’s exposure to the right funders at RPD. This three hour workshop is designed to engage both veteran fundraisers and newcomers to the nonprofit world. Come be inspired, and get prepared to make the most of your Rural Philanthropy Days experience.
Pre-conference trainings are required for first time attendees.

Regional Steering Committee
RPD conference activities are collaboratively coordinated by a regional steering committee comprised of rural nonprofit, government and business leaders, Community Resource Center, the Anschutz Family Foundation and local foundation staff.
What to Expect
RPD conferences include many opportunities to increase your understanding of nonprofit best practices, collaborate with other community leaders and connect with Front Range and local funders. The funder roundtables are a signature of the RPD program and provide a unique opportunity to meet with grantmakers in a rural setting.
The goal of RPD is to bring increased access to resources to support sustainable rural nonprofits, increase the engagement of funders in rural communities, and encourage effective collaboration on a regional scale.
