Save the Date for Southwest Rural Philanthropy Days!

September 12 – 14, 2018 | Cortez, Colorado

This opportunity only occurs once every four years in the Southwest region, so mark your calendars for the unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with funders, participate in professional development opportunities and network with other community leaders in the region. Southwest RPD, serving Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan counties, will take place in Cortez, Colorado on September 12 – 14, 2018.

Help Shape the Southwest RPD Conference

We want to hear from you! The Southwest RPD Steering Committee is currently collecting feedback from individuals that serve and work in the Southwest Region in order to shape relevant programming for the conference. Please take a moment tell us what types of capacity building workshops and opportunities would be most meaningful for you and your organization. What topics would you like to see at Southwest RPD that would build your knowledge and skills to better run your organization and serve your organization? Complete our Program Needs Assessment HERE by December 15, 2017 to share your feedback with us.

What to Expect

RPD conferences include many opportunities to increase your understanding of nonprofit best practices, collaborate with other community leaders and connect with Front Range and local funders. The funder roundtables are a signature of the RPD program and provide a unique opportunity to meet with grantmakers in a rural setting.

The goal of RPD is to bring increased access to resources to support sustainable rural nonprofits, increase the engagement of funders in rural communities, and encourage effective collaboration on a regional scale.
