Rifle

Live and work where you love to play

You can see there are many reasons that Rifle is a great place to live. Rifle is striving to differentiate itself from countless other rural communities that have endured multiple boom-and-bust economic cycles. As our community’s common goals for our economic future become a reality, Rifle can and will become a place that is not only known for its recreational activities, but for its outside-the-box thinking in shaping the way people live and work in a vibrant, competitive business environment. The City of Rifle has a vision of being a community that not only is affected by energy, but is also a good steward of it.

Rifle is where the old west, meets the new west. Rich with western heritage and history, many downtown businesses are located within historical buildings dating back to the 1900′s.
