If you are interested in getting involved in your region, consider serving on an Interim Committee. As an Interim Committee member you will help plan and execute continued nonprofit professional development opportunities during the years between RPD conferences. Heart of Colorado

The next Heart of Colorado RPD conference will take place in 2020. The Heart of Colorado region is comprised of Chaffee, Clear Creak, Custer, Fremont, Gilpin, Lake, Park, Summit, and Teller counties.

Northeast

The next Northeast RPD conference will take place in 2020. The Northeast region is comprised of Cheyenne, Kit Carson, Lincoln, Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington, and Yuma counties.

Northwest

The next Northwest RPD conference will take place on September 27-29, 2017 in Craig. The Northwest region is comprised of Grand, Jackson, Moffat, Rio Blanco, and Routt counties

San Juan

The next San Juan RPD conference will take place June 14-16, 2017 in Montrose. The San Juan region is comprised of Gunnison, Hinsdale, Montrose, Ouray, and San Miguel counties.

San Luis Valley

The next San Luis Valley RPD conference will take place in September 2019. The San Luis Valley region is comprised of Alamosa, Conejos, Costilla, Mineral, Rio Grande, and Saguache counties.

Southeast

The next Southeast RPD conference will take place in June 2018. The Southeast region is comprised of Baca, Bent, Crowley, Huerfano, Kiowa, Las Animas, Otero, and Prowers counties.

Financials and Fund Development

This training is designed for nonprofit board and staff who are looking to gain a broad understanding of two key topics: Financial Management and Fund Development. This full-day workshop will be divided into two parts.

Part 1: Financial Management
Participants will build organizational capacity around nonprofit accounting practices, financial oversight and internal controls.

Part 2: Fund Development
Participants will gain an understanding of the current fundraising climate and emerging trends in Colorado, and how to gain a competitive edge by improving your case for support.

Western Slope Symposium Series

The Western Slope Symposium Series is sponsored by the Western Slope Rural Philanthropy Days (WSRPD) Interim Committee, a coalition of regional nonprofit leaders who have joined together to bring nonprofit education opportunities to the region. The symposium series will provide an opportunity for service providers to network, share and collaborate. Western Slope nonprofits, groups who use fiscal agents, government officials, schools and universities are invited to participate.
