Find Your Region and Events

Interested in getting involved in your region? Consider serving on a regional Leadership Committee! Our regional leadership committees are a key outcome of the Rural Philanthropy Days program, building networks, partnerships and increased access to education and opportunities across rural Colorado. Each of the eight Leadership Committees build unique opportunities within their region in order to best meet the needs of their communities during the years between RPD conferences.

Benefits of Leadership Committee participation:

  • Expand Your Professional Network
  • Enhance and Inform Regional Opportunities
  • Develop Leadership Skills
  • Gain Access to Professional Development Opportunities

"RIGHT SIZE" STRATEGIC PLANNING - MONTROSE

Strategic planning, fundraising, board development, reserve fund development and other topics often seem like “one size fits all” practices.  But nonprofits move through very distinct stages – startup, growing, mature, dying/reinventing – and the challenges and opportunities predictable at each stage will influence your  planning, infrastructure, resource development, –  and the kinds of people you’ll need for both board and staff. During her February workshop on strategic planning, Illene Roggensack referred to these “life stage effects”.  In November, she’ll dig deeper, describing how to recognize your stage as well as how this recognition affects everything you do. If you didn’t attend in February, no worries – this workshop will stand on its own!
